Raised by the Hills
Born and bred in the deep Ozarks, Gruncle Will grew up listening to his grandpappy spin tales on the front porch while his mamaw picked the banjo. By age ten, he could play three instruments and tell a story that'd keep a room quiet for an hour.
Over the years, Will has performed at festivals, county fairs, and front porches across the heartland. He's written two books of Ozarks tales and recorded music that blends old-time Appalachian sounds with his own hill country flavor.
When he's not on stage or scribbling stories, you'll find him fishing a creek, whittling on the porch, or teaching the young'uns how to pick a proper tune.
