Guitar
Will's guitar work ranges from gentle fingerpicked ballads to hard-driving flatpick tunes. His guitar is the backbone of his storytelling performances, setting the mood for every tale.
Mandolin
The mandolin brings brightness and speed to Will's sound. Old-time reels, waltzes, and original compositions flow from the eight strings with decades of mountain tradition behind every note.
Banjo
The banjo is where it all started. Clawhammer style learned from his mamaw, with three-finger picking added along the way. The banjo is the heartbeat of Gruncle Will's music.
